our various Blue Moon lander product lines.
To advance our vision of establishing a sustainable human presence in space, we are constructing the necessary infrastructure for transporting crew and cargo from Earth to the lunar surface.
The MK2 Crew Lander initiative will showcase the lander's essential capabilities, including the privately funded BE-7 landing engine, precision landing sensors, and integrated power and propulsion systems, serving as a precursor to certifying the vehicle for NASA's Artemis lunar exploration program.
Our team is reimagining the design of space systems, focusing on high-performance architecture, efficient reusability, and rapid design iterations.
Join us in paving the way for a permanent lunar presence.As a vital member of our dedicated team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will engage in the design, analysis, construction, testing, integration, delivery, and operation of fluid and propulsion subsystems for Lunar landers.

A passion for our mission and vision is essential.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute structural analysis models while providing design insights.
- Offer feedback on structural designs and assess performance across various conditions.
- Evaluate the design of fluid system components.
- Support the entire lifecycle of fluid system components, from definition and interfaces to conceptual and detailed design, component development, assembly, verification, and operation.
- Collaborate closely with designers to enhance designs for superior performance compared to existing standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in structural analysis and mechanical component design.
- Proficiency in FEA analysis tools (ANSYS preferred) and validation of structural models.
- Familiarity with classical hand calculations for stress analysis based on standard aerospace references (Shigley, Bruhn, Roark, etc.).
- Experience with 3D CAD software (Creo preferred).
- Background in analyzing components in high-vibration environments.
- Ability to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to a collaborative and inclusive culture.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or legally admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Programming skills (VBA, Matlab, Python, FORTRAN, etc.).
- Advanced degree in Engineering.
- Experience with diverse manufacturing methods, material selection, testing, characterization, and allowable development.
- Familiarity with analysis codes such as Nastran, Ansys, Abaqus, LS-Dyna, Optistruct.
- Experience with cryogenic and elevated temperature systems applications.
- Knowledge of fatigue analysis and linear-elastic fracture mechanics (hand calculations, NASGRO, etc.).
