Position Overview

The selected candidate will be tasked with delivering comprehensive end-user support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up Lab/Analytical Computers to function within the new operational framework.
  • Establish physical connections to firewalls.
  • Configure IP addresses as required.
  • Map network drives when necessary.
  • Add or update links to external network resources.
  • Create local user accounts and manage group assignments.
  • Set up remote desktop configurations.
  • Facilitate profile and data migration as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support (end-user, desktop).
  • Proficient in Microsoft operating systems: Windows XP/7 & Windows 10.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software - Office 2010, 2013, Office365.
  • Strong hardware support experience with PCs, printers, and scanners.
  • Basic understanding of network support and maintenance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Outstanding customer support abilities and the capacity to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Ability to work independently as necessary, particularly in a Lab or R&D setting.
  • Familiarity with firewalls.
  • Knowledge of server and desktop integrated applications.
