POSITION SUMMARY:

Join a dedicated team at a locally-owned healthcare organization that is making a significant impact in the Northwest Florida region. As a leading provider of Occupational Health services in the Florida Panhandle, we also operate the largest independent laboratory testing facility on the Gulf Coast, serving over 50,000 patients annually across multiple locations.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) who is passionate about delivering comprehensive care to our diverse clientele. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for conducting patient interviews, gathering and documenting health histories, performing physical and developmental evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, diagnosing health conditions, and managing patient care. This role includes maintaining health records and making referrals as needed while ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures to provide exceptional patient care.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations.
  • Ensure preventive screening procedures are performed and communicated effectively to patients.
  • Identify and communicate medical and health risk factors.
  • Update and document changes in patient health status and diagnoses.
  • Order appropriate diagnostic tests and interpret results.
  • Prescribe necessary pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments.
  • Develop and implement patient education plans.
  • Provide patient education and make appropriate referrals.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and adjust as necessary.
  • Foster a safe environment for patients and collaborate with team members in healthcare delivery.
  • Engage in regular consultations with professional colleagues and review treatment plans with supervising physicians.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge through continuous education and compliance with state regulations.
  • Perform additional procedures as required, including suturing, wound care, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of clinical practices.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and healthcare protocols.
  • Assist in overseeing clinical staff and maintaining a supportive work environment.

WORK SCHEDULE:

This is a full-time position with travel requirements within the Florida Panhandle.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Valid CRNP License in the state of Florida, in good standing.
  • Experience: A minimum of two years in a multi-site medical environment is preferred.

WORK AUTHORIZATION:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to patient care excellence and ethical standards.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Position involves standing, walking, and bending for extended periods.
