As a Clinician II with The Mental Health Association of Westchester Inc., you will play a vital role in promoting mental wellness through advocacy, community education, and direct services. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinician II to join our Mobile Outreach Team (MOT). As a member of our team, you will provide comprehensive services to individuals and families, utilizing evidence-based practices and a focus on trauma-responsive care. Your expertise will be essential in fostering independence and resilience within our community.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in the mental health field, with 2 years of experience working with individuals recovering from significant mental health issues and those with co-occurring disorders. Supervisory experience is preferred, but not required. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the day-to-day functioning of the MOT.
Oversee the Schedule of visits
Ensure that all documentation is completed in a timely manner
Provide supervision and direct service, which will include engagement, assessment, accompanying the individual on behavioral health and medical appointments
Support residential staff and family
Work with hospital staff on discharge planning
Assist in crisis prevention and response
Additional Duties as assigned

Requirements:
Master's degree in the mental health field, e.g., social work, psychology, mental health counseling, etc. with 2 years of experience working with individuals recovering from significant mental health issues and those with co-occurring disorders.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Experience working with individuals with mental illness in a both group and individual settings.

Ability to engage clients through the development of a therapeutic relationship to deal with crisis situations and adapt to new or changing conditions and to work as a team and participate in a group process of goal setting and problem solving.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Deep understanding of the recovery process and principles of person-centered planning.
Comfortable going into the community, meeting individuals on inpatient units and in residences.
Knowledge of community resources and mental health services.
Proficiency with Electronic Health Records preferred.
Experience working with a diverse population.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive program vehicles.
Must obtain and maintain Defensive Driver Certification within 30 days of hire
Must maintain pre-employment clearances by applicable regulatory clearances as required.
Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Salary Range:
$50-60K , based on departmental budget, qualifications, experience, education, and licenses. This range represents the agency's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Flexible Work Arrangements:
Subject to business needs, including hybrid options.

Paid Time Off:
25 days of PTO, 12 sick days, and 11 company-paid holidays per year (prorated for part-time staff).
