As a Pharmacy Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient. You will be responsible for leading with heart, displaying empathy and compassion for your patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues on your team. You will also support your Pharmacy manager in motivating, inspiring, and developing their Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments that maximize colleagues' strengths, address development opportunities, and decrease knowledge gaps.

Patient SafetyPharmacy Professional PracticeRegulatory RequirementsQuality AssuranceCustomer ServiceInventory ManagementWorkflow Management excluding final prescription verificationPrimary Roles and Responsibility:A key component of the Pharmacy Professional role is keeping your customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs

accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS HealthRequired Qualifications:
PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health0-3 years prior relevant work experienceMust possess or be in process of obtaining a valid Pharmacist intern and/or technician licensure as required by state BOPStrong verbal, non-verbal and written communication skillsComplete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframeAbility to:Have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekendsBe mobile and remain upright for extended periods of timeLift, scan, and bag items

Finger Dexterity:
Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than whole hand or armReach overhead; able to stretch or reach out with the body, arms, and/or legs to grasp itemsExtend hand(s) and arm(s) multiple directions to place, move, or lift itemsPrecision control: able to adjust machines to exact positionsStoop to a considerable degree and requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles to move items between low and high positions, including bending spine at the waist

Visual Acuity:

Close visual acuity to perform activities such as: transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading, visual inspection involving small partsAble to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customersOccasional lifting of up to 20 lbs; exerting up to 20 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:
Immunization eligibility3-5 years prior relevant work experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Once state regulations are met, Grad interns should be striving to provide patient immunizations as this is an essential pharmacist function
