Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Based Personal Care Aide to join our team at Interim HealthCare of NEPA. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client's condition, and perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support to students with physical and mental disabilities in a school setting
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Report observations and concerns to the Interim supervisor
  • Follow school policies and procedures
  • Assist with behavioral support and redirection when necessary
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months experience in a related field, such as behavioral health or pediatrics
  • CPR and First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Screenings
