Job Title: School Based Personal Care Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled School Based Personal Care Aide to join our team at Interim HealthCare of NEPA. As a School Based Personal Care Aide, you will provide hands-on personal care and support to students with disabilities in a school setting.

Job Summary:

The School Based Personal Care Aide will work one-on-one with students, providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom. You will also help students stay on task in the classroom and redirect them when necessary. Additionally, you will ensure the student's safety and well-being, and report any observations or concerns to the Interim supervisor.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide personal care and support to students with disabilities in a school setting
  • Assist students with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and using the bathroom
  • Help students stay on task in the classroom and redirect them when necessary
  • Ensure the student's safety and well-being
  • Report any observations or concerns to the Interim supervisor
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months experience in a relative field, such as behavioral health or pediatrics
  • CPR and First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to undergo Pre-Employment Screenings
Benefits:
  • $22 per hour, with $50 quarterly bonuses (up to $200 annually)
  • Transportation and mandatory in-services at $18 per hour
