Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Spearhead and oversee innovation projects from inception to execution, ensuring they align with NATO's strategic goals. This includes managing the development of new technologies, processes, and systems that bolster NATO's combat capabilities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and nurture robust relationships with a diverse network of stakeholders, including NATO member nations, industry collaborators, academic institutions, and other international entities. Facilitate partnerships through workshops, innovation contests, and collaborative initiatives.
  • Agile Practices and Experimentation: Advocate for the adoption of agile methodologies and a culture of experimentation within NATO. Lead initiatives such as the Innovation Challenge, identifying and developing innovative solutions to NATO's operational challenges.

Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in innovation management, business administration, engineering, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees are preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in innovation management, project management, or a related field. Experience in an international or defense organization is highly desirable.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in project management methodologies, with a strong background in agile practices. Familiarity with data analytics and digital transformation initiatives is advantageous.
