We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assembly Mechanic to join our team at Yoh. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of assembly tasks on composite aircraft, ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute assembly and installation of structures, sub-assemblies, and components following blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders.
- Conduct data gathering transactions to facilitate assembly progression.
- Set up and perform manual and automated assembly operations, including portable machine functions.
- Perform pickup, rework, fabrication, change incorporation, functional testing, and checks during or after final assembly.
- Move and obtain correct parts, materials, tools, and assemblies as required.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to accomplish work assignments.
- Report and investigate job handicaps, errors, and discrepancies in parts, assembly procedures, tools, and sequences.
- Move products within the manufacturing work area, using shop-assigned equipment as necessary.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience working on composite aircraft is essential.
- Ability to work with blueprints.
- Flexibility to work any shift as needed.
