Architect Construction Administration Professional

We are seeking an experienced Architect Construction Administration professional to join our team at Passero Associates. The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in architectural or construction contract administration, specification reports, submittals, change orders, and pay requests. This role will also involve leading and organizing a group of construction administration staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project administrative activities related to construction contract administration, coordinating the construction administration for Architects and Engineers, including field observation reports, submittals, RFI's, change orders, and pay requests, etc.
  • Review and distribute schedules of project submittal and coordinate and respond to RFI's
  • Compile, evaluate, and present feedback information related to necessary changes in construction documents
  • Attend project meetings, prepare, and distribute meeting minutes as required by contract
  • Coordinate the needs of the architect and outside consultants such as structural, civil, and mechanical engineers
  • Review submittals of and distribution of contractor's project drawings, warranties, and other post-construction submittals, construction change orders for contract conformance, and contractor's requests for payment

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a practicing Architect or similar experience as a Construction Project manager including 1-5 years of direct experience in Construction Administration related services
  • Background (ability to read) in construction documents, specifications, contracts, etc. is a bonus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and related software
  • Bluebeam or other PDF editing software knowledge a bonus
  • Strong work ethic and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Valid driver's license and personal vehicle
