Job Summary

The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) role at EVERSANA is pivotal in the realm of anti-arrhythmia treatments for self-administration outside of the emergency department or hospital setting. This position requires field-oriented expertise, scientific partnerships, and relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare practitioners.

This MSL will adhere to regulatory and corporate directives, foster scientific exchange, and gather insights that inform strategic decision-making. They will establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with KOLs, function as an extension of the medical information group, and provide product and pipeline therapeutic area expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary point of contact in the field with reporting responsibilities to the Senior Director, Medical Excellence and Field-Based Medicine
  • Serve as preceptor to other MSLs and support internal medical affairs initiatives
  • Be solidly versed in clinical data and conduct pre-launch KOL profiling efforts
  • Facilitate top account/institution profiling efforts and develop key opinion leader engagement plans
  • Proactively conduct scientific exchange with KOLs and document scientific insights within appropriate systems
  • Function as a scientific resource to KOLs and HCPs, providing disease state education and supporting innovation

Requirements

  • Advanced science/clinical degree (PharmD, M.D., DO, Ph.D.) with one or more years of relevant clinical or therapeutic experience, or Masters level degree in health sciences with three or more years of relevant experience
  • Four or more years of experience as a MSL with primary emphasis on field-based scientific exchange (cardiovascular experience preferred)
  • Knowledge of regional specific healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
