We are seeking a skilled Senior Medical Science Liaison to join our team, playing a vital role in analyzing, interpreting, and disseminating scientific data to advance medical strategy and improve patient outcomes.

About the Role:

  • This field-based position will require frequent travel, up to 70% of time, including overnight and weekend stays, to meet with external experts and customers.
  • The Senior Medical Science Liaison will be responsible for building and maintaining professional relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), aligned to individual territory plans and medical strategy.
  • You will demonstrate advanced knowledge regarding Takeda's disease areas and products, as well as the therapeutic area competitor landscape.
  • Your expertise will enable you to analyze and interpret complex scientific information and communicate it to KOLs/HCPs in a compliant, fair-balanced, and non-misleading manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with facilitating strategically aligned medical collaborative studies and investigator-initiated research processes.
  • Cultivate partnership opportunities between KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
  • Participate in executing medical strategy at medical conferences, such as staff medical booths and internally communicating medical insights acquired through poster/session attendance and KOL/HCP interactions.
  • Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries referred by Medical Information within defined timelines and quality standards.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A Doctoral degree in life/health sciences (PharmD, MD, PhD, or equivalent) is preferred; a Master's degree in health sciences (MSN, NP, or PA) is the minimum requirement.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a field-based Medical Science Liaison (MSL) in the pharmaceutical industry is required.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), organization, and collaboration skills are essential.

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a highly competitive salary range of $133,000.00 - $209,000.00 per year, based on qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, you may be eligible for short-term and long-term incentives, medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits.
