Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Medical Science Liaison to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunology and experience working in the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Engage External Stakeholders: You will engage external stakeholders on medical and scientific information exchange for the therapeutic area during one-on-one interactions and in group settings, exhibiting excellent scientific and clinical knowledge.
  • Conduct Research Studies: You will recognize and collect feedback/reactions from multiple data sources and various stakeholders, critically evaluating and discerning information gained from published studies, congresses, and stakeholder interactions to develop key insights that deepen our understanding of the market's needs and opinions of external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Internal Stakeholders: You will distribute relevant scientific and medical information and key external insights to internal stakeholders when requested, collaborating with Commercial Operations, Business Development, Regulatory, etc., to facilitate diligence reviews, medical and safety evaluation, product positioning, lifecycle evidence planning, and compliance needs.
  • Support Evidence-Generation Activities: You will identify data collection opportunities during stakeholder interactions and report these using approved processes, maintaining awareness of clinical trial activity within the territory and suggesting clinical trials sites as requested.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree: An advanced degree in a scientific or medical field (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD) is required.
  • MSL Experience: Previous MSL experience or extensive dermatology/immunology experience is required.
  • Scientific Expertise: Demonstrated scientific expertise, staying abreast of data, treatment trends, and new information in the profession, is essential.
  • Effective Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to address educational and research needs through delivery of cutting-edge scientific/evidenced-based data, are necessary.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership skills, stepping forward to handle challenges within scope of authority, are also required.

Benefits

  • Salary Range: $140,250 - $187,000 USD annually, commensurate with demonstrated experience.
  • Company Car: Eligible for a company car through the Company's FLEET program, subject to completion of fleet safety training and maintenance of an acceptable driving record.
