Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will apply your expertise to specific situations, analyze data, identify discrepancies, and follow procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products
- Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical designs
- Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications using CAD software
- Perform simulations and calculations to evaluate the structural integrity, thermal performance, and mechanical behavior of designs
- Select materials and components based on engineering requirements, cost considerations, and manufacturing constraints
- Prototype and test mechanical systems and prototypes to validate performance and functionality
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into product development
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during product assembly, testing, and deployment
- Participate in design reviews, project meetings, and client interactions to communicate progress, discuss challenges, and propose solutions
- Stay informed on the latest developments and trends in mechanical engineering technology
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Three or more years of experience in mechanical engineering design and product development
- Professional Engineer licensing (PE) is a plus
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, such as injection molding, machining, and sheet metal fabrication
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and engineering analysis tools, such as Finite Element Analysis
- Strong grasp of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science
- Experience with prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping
- Prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
