Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop mechanical systems, components, and products
  • Conduct research and analysis to determine the feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness of mechanical designs

  • Select materials and components based on engineering requirements, cost considerations, and manufacturing constraints
  • Prototype and test mechanical systems and prototypes to validate performance and functionality
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing engineers, to integrate mechanical systems into product development
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance during product assembly, testing, and deployment

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical engineering design and product development
  • 2+ years of project management experience
  • Candidate should have EIT or taken FE exam
  • Ideal candidate should have Professional Engineer (PE) license or be willing to obtain it within a year
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including injection molding, machining, and sheet metal fabrication
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and engineering analysis tools (e.g., Finite Element Analysis)
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including mechanics, thermodynamics, and materials science
  • Experience with prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and rapid prototyping
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including injection molding, machining, and sheet metal fabrication
  • Proven track record of leading engineering projects from concept to production, with a strong emphasis on technical excellence, innovation, and quality
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines within budget constraints
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior engineers, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing engineering challenges
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
  • Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
