As the Accounting Manager for Consolidations, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding the financial accuracy of our organization.

This key position demands a skilled expert with a solid background in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and team leadership, adept at navigating a matrixed organization.

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing the consolidation process for the entire organization, ensuring precise ledger management, establishing internal controls, and collaborating with various finance teams and leadership.

Your role will also encompass managing audits, overseeing financial reporting, and contributing to strategic business initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:


In this role, you will:

  • Lead the closing and consolidation processes across functional teams, including managing the global intercompany process and reviewing monthly consolidated results in accordance with US GAAP; ensure timely and relevant communication while setting high standards for quality deliverables.
  • Guide, develop, and mentor a direct report, engaging in regular feedback discussions and participating in talent and performance review processes throughout the year.
  • Review consolidation journal entries and reconciliations, supporting the analytical review of monthly financials while maintaining internal controls across a global consolidation involving over 100 legal entities.
  • Design, document, and communicate new processes to centralize the consolidation function at the corporate level and take the lead in implementing Oracle EPM.
  • Prepare month-end actual results reporting, including all significant financial statements and critical supplemental data.
  • Collaborate with intercompany stakeholders to resolve discrepancies in accounts.
  • Engage with the organization's Controllership to ensure effective interdepartmental collaboration.
  • Review subsidiary and consolidated financial information, participate in discussions with leadership regarding analysis.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at automating the close cycle to reduce manual tasks and enhance controllership.
  • Lead or support team projects and initiatives, including external reporting and management reporting at quarter-end and year-end, process documentation, data management, and system optimization.
  • Oversee the global chart of accounts and maintain effective internal controls for the financial close and consolidation processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with audit functions to enhance internal policies for compliance.
  • Perform additional ad-hoc tasks as required.


Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting or industry accounting; 8+ years preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with multinational and public companies is highly desirable.
  • CPA or MBA credentials are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Products (EPM) is a plus.
  • A willingness to learn new technologies and navigate complex organizational dynamics.
  • Experience in people management.
