The Director of Grants Management is tasked with overseeing all facets of communication and donor relations within the Cabell Huntington Hospital/St. Mary network. Key responsibilities encompass the identification, drafting, submission, and nurturing of both public and private funding opportunities. This role also involves the creation and implementation of a comprehensive annual communication strategy that includes messaging, writing, editing, and the design of various media such as web content, social media, print materials, event promotions, video projects, and newsletters. Furthermore, the position entails the stewardship and expansion of two distinct pledge initiatives along with managing the associated donor relationships.
Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
Experience and Skills:
- Proven ability to foresee challenges, resolve issues, and make autonomous decisions as necessary.
- Hands-on experience in project management and/or event coordination from inception to completion, including volunteer organization and logistical planning.
- Capacity to follow directives and execute tasks in a dynamic environment, often with limited supervision.
- Demonstrates a proactive and positive attitude, serving as a role model.
- Exceptional time management, follow-up, and multitasking abilities, with a strong track record of meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities concurrently.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
