Superior Contracting & Maintenance is a reputable firm dedicated to delivering exceptional construction services. We are currently in search of a qualified and licensed Residential General Contractor to enhance our team.

Position Summary
The Residential General Contractor will be instrumental in managing and supervising extensive residential projects, including but not limited to basement renovations, bathroom upgrades, and various other construction endeavors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all phases of construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Coordinate and direct subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project service level agreements.
  • Ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, office personnel, subcontractors, and other relevant parties.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure the completion of all identified punch list items, either by subcontractors or through direct intervention.
  • Perform property assessments, condition evaluations, and cost estimations.
  • Supervise quality assurance and safety protocols on job sites.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during the construction process.

Qualifications
  • Possession of a valid General Contractor license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in managing large-scale residential projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, flooring, drywall, painting, appliances, siding, roofing, and landscaping.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent project management and organizational capabilities.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.
  • Aptitude for problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Experience with customer relationship management systems.
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Must be currently residing in the United States.

Compensation
Salary range of $80,000 - $150,000, commensurate with experience.
