Compensation: Paid weekly on Fridays
- Non-EPA Maintenance - $21.50/hour
- EPA Certified Maintenance - $23/hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 am - 6 pm (No weekends or on-call responsibilities)
As a Residential Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of the property, ensuring smooth daily operations. Your role will involve routine maintenance tasks for individual units, common areas, and amenities.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in residential, building, or hotel maintenance.
- Comprehensive skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and HVAC for EPA Certified Technicians.
- EPA Type I & II or Universal certification required for all EPA Certified Technicians.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory.
- Must possess necessary tools for the job.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the property’s appearance and ensure efficient daily operations.
- Perform routine maintenance in apartments, communal areas, and amenities.
- Assist with trash collection and appliance movement.
- Change locks and create keys as required.
- Quickly identify and resolve issues related to electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and drywall.
- Ensure a clean work environment after completing tasks.
- Prepare vacant units for new residents.
- Keep accurate records of preventive maintenance, service requests, and work status.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Complete assigned service requests safely and promptly.
- If certified, troubleshoot and service HVAC systems according to EPA standards.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Work will be conducted indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Tasks may involve prolonged standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds frequently.
- Use of personal hand tools is required.
- EPA Certified Technicians must have appropriate gauges and meters for HVAC tasks.
