Job Overview

Support customers and ensure bakery items are well-stocked. Uphold the company's fundamental values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

- Exhibit Customer 1st behavior; provide and inspire fellow associates to deliver outstanding customer service
- Stay informed about sales and anticipate production requirements
- Replenish stock and maintain fully stocked display cases
- Assess and confirm that bakery products meet company quality standards
- Conduct department cleanliness and organization
- Manage incoming calls
- Process cake orders
- Advocate and adhere to company initiatives; follow corporate policies
- Adhere to all safety regulations and standards
- Execute cashier duties
- Offer product samples
- Utilize public announcements to attract customers to the department
- Must be capable of performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED); or a combination of relevant education and experience
- Ability to operate within established time frames
- Familiarity with bakery terminology and processes
- Skills in organizing and prioritizing tasks/projects
- Availability to work weekends regularly, any shift, and overtime as necessary
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass a drug screening
- Minimum age of 18 years

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in retail
- Background in customer service
- Understanding of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure
