Your Role:
This position collaborates closely with specialty pharmacy team members, healthcare providers, and care coordinators to ensure patients have seamless access to their prescribed medications. Key responsibilities include:
  • Proactively reaching out to patients for refill reminders.
  • Initiating necessary interventions to support patient needs.
  • Confirming medication deliveries and assisting with intake and fulfillment as required.
  • Participating in special projects and committees to enhance pharmacy operations.

Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a pharmacy technician is essential; experience in specialty pharmacy is preferred.
  • Certification: Must hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician License in the State of Practice and obtain Medication Therapy Management Certification (MTM) within 90 days of hire.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Specialty Pharmacy Technician, you will:
  • Manage inventory and order supplies efficiently.
  • Act as a liaison among patients, providers, and insurance companies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and education.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Physical Demands:
