Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Patient Care: Provide personalized and empathetic patient care, advising and guiding patients with confidentiality and diligence.
  • Business Acumen: Develop and maintain effective relationships with local physicians and medical communities to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed of regulations and industry developments, ensuring the pharmacy remains up-to-date and compliant.
  • Team Development: Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, empowering the pharmacy team's growth and development.
Requirements
  • Education: Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
  • Experience: One year of experience in pharmacy management and one year of experience working directly with patients.
  • Licensure: Current and in good standing pharmacist license in the state of LA.
  • Continuing Education: Maintain continuing education requirements as part of pharmacist license maintenance.
