About the Role

CNS Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our community-based team, you will play a vital role in providing intensive services to families, parents, and children who are at risk for the development of emotional disturbance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough and complete assessments to identify treatment needs and develop person-centered plans with each assigned client.
  • Community-Based Services: Provide at least 80% of services in the beneficiary's home or other agreed-upon community-based location.
  • Treatment Modalities: Provide therapeutic interventions to clients and families as indicated in the treatment plan.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatment provided to assigned clients and their families.
  • Productivity and Utilization Review: Meet productivity standards for the program and maintain a utilization review score of 85% or higher.
Requirements
  • Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • Licensure: State licensure: Limited-Licensed Master's Social Worker (LLMSW), Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Limited-Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Limited-Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LLMFT), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), OR Limited-Licensed Psychologist (LLP).
  • Experience: Two years of clinical experience in individual and group psychotherapy using cognitive behavioral techniques under clinical supervision.
  • Skills: Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously; ability to use discretion and judgment when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature; advanced time management, problem-solving, customer service, interpersonal, collaboration, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution skills.
