Cost Analysis Specialist

The Judge Group is currently in search of a Cost Analysis Specialist. This role is essential for delivering financial insights and supporting management in cost-related projects while developing key performance indicators (KPIs).

This position will work closely with the Controller and engage in various departmental functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage routine inventory assessments
• Evaluate and pinpoint cost reduction opportunities while monitoring monthly savings
• Analyze monthly expenditures and production metrics, providing valuable insights
• Execute month-end closing tasks
• Conduct account reconciliations for general ledger entries
• Reconcile inventory sites and prepare associated schedules
• Calculate and assess variances, including labor and overhead costs
• Review year-over-year production cost and variance fluctuations
• Analyze changes in volume versus pricing
• Report inventory by product category and compute inventory KPIs
• Collaborate with the team to create financial models for new offerings and estimate unit costs for new products
• Act as a liaison between the finance and operations teams

• Establish and maintain internal documentation
• Oversee cost accounting systems

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree is mandatory, preferably in Accounting or a related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting
• Strong analytical and computer skills are essential.
