We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Plant Financial Analyst for a client in the food production sector. This role presents an excellent opportunity to become part of a dynamic organization recognized for its commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities:The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Overseeing financial operations within a manufacturing environment, specifically in food or durable goods.
- Providing insightful analysis on actual versus projected costs to support operational decision-making.
- Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and understanding relevant tax regulations at federal, state, and local levels.
- Conducting audits of payroll processes and ensuring adherence to tax laws.
- Collaborating with plant management to enhance financial performance and operational efficiency.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing context.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles.
- Experience in financial forecasting and budgeting.
- CPA certification is advantageous.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A detail-oriented approach with a focus on meeting deadlines.
