About the Role:

The Co-Manufacturing Sales Manager will be responsible for managing and expanding our co-manufacturing business by developing strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the co-manufacturing industry, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for co-manufacturing / variety packing services, aligning with company goals and market trends.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the co-manufacturing sector, expanding the company's client base and market share.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for co-manufacturing agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company while meeting client needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including production and supply chain, to ensure seamless execution of co-manufacturing projects.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities in co-manufacturing.
  • Sales Reporting: Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Customer Support: Address client concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the highest level of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of sales experience in the manufacturing or co-manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the co-manufacturing process and market.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 40 pounds. Ability to crouch, reach and grasp. Ability to sit in a car or in front of a computer for extended periods of time.
