Job Overview

Position Summary: We are in search of a dynamic individual to fill the role of Senior Tax Manager at Navolio & Tallman LLP. This position is essential for our growth strategy and requires a candidate who can effectively contribute to our expanding operations. The successful applicant will be a certified public accountant with a minimum of five years of relevant experience, showcasing professionalism, technical proficiency, and a dedication to the highest standards in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tax return reviews and take charge of client engagements, including managing schedules, staffing, and addressing technical issues.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing strategic advice on income tax planning, wealth transfer strategies, and charitable contributions.
  • Ensure timely completion of engagements while identifying and resolving issues independently.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development and guiding them through technical challenges.
  • Conduct semi-annual performance evaluations and manage ongoing staff performance.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through exceptional service and responsiveness, collaborating with partners to attract new clients.
  • Enhance expertise in key industry areas by participating in training and seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation.
  • Active CPA license.
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience, with recent managerial responsibilities.
  • Proven leadership abilities, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal and written communication.
