Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee HR operations across multiple sites, ensuring effective employee relations, compliance, talent acquisition, and payroll management.

This role is crucial to maintaining a positive and productive workplace environment while aligning HR practices with the company's overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an open-door policy, ensuring regular visibility and accessibility to all employees and managers across sites.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees, addressing grievances, employee relations, and performance issues, conducting investigations, and managing disciplinary processes.
  • Manage recruitment efforts, develop onboarding processes, and conduct employee reviews. Create actionable development and succession plans.
  • Ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, Worker's Compensation, and other employment laws. Conduct audits and provide compliance training.
  • Implement and administer employee policies, ensure awareness and understanding, and provide benefits support.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and on time, maintaining payroll records and compliance.

Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a multi-site HR management role.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or similar industries preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (ADA, FMLA, etc.).
  • Experience with HRIS software, particularly Paycom.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex employee relations and compliance issues.

Additional Information:

This is a multi-site role with occasional travel to maintain visibility at various locations.

Reports directly to the VP of Human Resources.
