About the Role

Gardner Family Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Certified Enrollment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Development, Marketing and Outreach Department, you will play a vital role in helping our community access quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Screen patients for Covered California and make follow-up calls to ensure timely enrollment
  • Assist patients with Medi-Cal renewals and plan selections
  • Conduct outreach efforts to individuals and families with specific healthcare needs
  • Collaborate with community members to provide culturally sensitive support and connect them with necessary services
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Certified Enrollment Counselor experience required
  • Minimum one year experience in outreach or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills required; intermediate computer skills preferred
  • Excellent verbal, written, and customer relations skills required
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurances (Covered CA, Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, Primary Care Access Program) required
  • Valid California Driver's License in good standing with DMV required; current liability insurance
