Job Summary

Ashcroft is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, coordinating order fulfillment, and ensuring timely delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide accurate and complete information regarding order status, products, and services.
  • Coordinate and expedite customer orders, including Gold Services and Key Customer Orders, to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Interface with internal teams, including Inside Sales, Materials, Engineering, and Sales and Marketing, to ensure timely delivery of customer orders and parts.
  • Use computer tools, such as EPICOR10 and Access database, to track and eliminate past due orders, and provide current status information on orders throughout all areas.
  • Analyze error reports and take appropriate corrective action to prevent future errors.
  • Assume responsibilities of special projects and mailroom duties as assigned.
  • Perform as backup to other office union positions as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or better.
  • One to three years of experience with PCs, office procedures, product manufacturing/expediting methods, and/or automated order processing methods.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and associated paperwork.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, shippers, and co-workers at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to customer order requirements and other practical situations.
  • Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated telephone contact skills.
