Position Overview:
This role is designed to support our operations in the San Bernardino/High Desert Territory. If you are dedicated to assisting individuals in recovering from unexpected events affecting their homes while delivering exceptional customer service, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough investigations and resolve homeowner claims of minor to moderate complexity efficiently. Document findings with photographs, measurements, and recorded interviews as necessary, and prepare repair estimates to reflect damages accurately.

• Perform field inspections for at least 50% of your work time, utilizing a company vehicle to travel to clients' residences for on-site evaluations.

• Manage virtual claims by leveraging advanced technology to collaborate with vendors and clients, assessing damages and preparing estimates remotely when required.

• Analyze gathered information against policy coverage to determine claim eligibility, extending or denying coverage as appropriate.

• Establish reserve amounts within your settlement authority and negotiate claim settlements, referring cases exceeding your authority to a supervisor for approval.

• Maintain effective communication with insured parties and their representatives to address issues and ensure satisfaction, adhering to Department of Insurance requirements.

• Prioritize responsibilities and manage your claims workload to monitor progress and expenses effectively.

• Occasionally oversee the work of independent adjusters to ensure claims are resolved satisfactorily.

Qualifications:
• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A valid driver's license is mandatory.

• Ability to obtain state-specific property claims licensing as required.

• Successful completion of a formal property claims training program is essential.

Experience:
• Familiarity with estimating software such as Xactimate is preferred.

• Background in property claims, customer service, construction, restoration, or mitigation is advantageous.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Bilingual candidates and those with military experience are encouraged to apply.

• 1-3 years of relevant industry experience is preferred.

• Work independently with minimal supervision to investigate, evaluate, and resolve property claims.

• Transition seamlessly between various inspection methods, including physical and virtual assessments.

• Be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds and climbing ladders for inspections.

• Possess strong organizational and time management skills to handle fluctuating workloads.

• Be willing to work flexible hours, including potential overtime as needed.
