Claims Adjuster General and Auto Liability Specialist

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a skilled Claims Adjuster General and Auto Liability to join our team. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling less complex claims with moderate supervision.
Key Responsibilities- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages
- Exercise proper judgment and decision-making to analyze claims exposure and determine the proper course of action
- Interact with various parties involved in the claim process, including clients, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Handle claims consistent with clients' and corporate policies, procedures, and best practices
- Document and communicate all claim activity in a timely and effective manner
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 3 years related claims experience required
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled
- Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices
- Computer experience with related claims and business software
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience working in a high-paced Auto environment
- Designated Home State adjuster license preferred
- Ability to think critically, solve problems, plan, and organize activities
- Ability to serve clients, negotiate, and effectively communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to analyze and interpret related documentation
- Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
