Comprehensive Patient Care

Our approach to treatment is centered around the patient, employing a dual strategy to tackle both the medical and psychological facets of opioid addiction. This Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) utilizes Methadone or Buprenorphine (Suboxone) to manage physical dependence, complemented by team-based Behavioral Counseling to address psychological needs.

Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated Addiction Medicine Physician. The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and contributes positively to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhancing clinical and financial outcomes
  • Overseeing daily operations of the opioid treatment program
  • Ensuring effective operational processes
  • Addressing urgent and emergent issues related to the treatment center outside of regular hours
  • Managing revenue collections to meet financial targets while adhering to budgetary constraints

Candidate Qualifications:

The perfect candidate will possess:

  • A proven track record in a clinical or medical setting
  • Self-motivation and a capacity for rapid learning
  • Exceptional customer service and teamwork skills
  • Strong communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective time management skills
  • ABAM Certification or eligibility

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid medical or osteopathic license in Tennessee
  • At least three years of experience serving individuals with substance use disorders, including one year focused on opioid treatment
  • Board Eligible in psychiatry with two years of experience treating individuals with substance use disorders
  • ASAM or Board Certified as an addiction medicine specialist
