Join Our Team as a Senior Culinary Supervisor

We are looking for a *Senior Culinary Supervisor* to become a vital part of our Waikiki Market team.

The *Senior Culinary Supervisor* plays a crucial role in assisting the Chef and Sous Chef in managing the daily operations of our kitchen.

In this position, you will lead a team of cooks, prep cooks, and utility cooks, ensuring that all kitchen activities run smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of culinary techniques, operational procedures, staffing strategies, and kitchen regulations.

The *Senior Culinary Supervisor* will take charge of the kitchen in the absence of the Chef and Sous Chef and will also manage some vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing food items through various methods such as cutting, chopping, mixing, and creating sauces.
  • Cooking food items using techniques like grilling, frying, and sautéing according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensuring all food items are prepared to specifications, properly dated, packed, sealed, and labeled.
  • Assigning daily tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and capabilities.
  • Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:

  • High school diploma with some college coursework preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Previous management experience in a culinary role within a high-volume food service environment.
  • Proficient knife skills and cooking techniques are essential.
  • Recent TB Clearance is required.
  • Must comply with all company policies and standards.
