Building Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Attendant Leader to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work of Assistant Building Attendant Leaders and Building Attendant II Teams.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership: Demonstrate strong leadership skills and set a positive example for team members. Schedule and coordinate work assignments, maintain order and discipline, and receive and schedule work per client instructions.
- Administration: Prepare and maintain accurate documents, including Key Logs, Security Logs, Time Reports, and other records. Provide timely notice to management on matters of concern and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that services and event setups are delivered on schedule and meet quality standards. Conduct inspections, maintain accurate paperwork, and provide timely responses to client complaints.
- Safety and Repair: Adhere to safety guidelines, maintain safe working conditions, and report and correct unsafe conditions and repairs. Ensure preventive maintenance and inspections follow standard operating procedures.
- Security: Secure doors and arm alarms per procedures, manage keys and access cards, and report security concerns to UTPD. Maintain and conduct quarterly equipment inventories.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively. A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures is also essential.
