Role Responsibilities:
The Clinical Area Manager (CAM) plays a crucial role in driving growth in prescription referrals and sales across physician offices, local clinics, and hospitals within the designated territory. This position involves consultative sales through direct interactions with clients, prospects, patients, caregivers, therapists, and administrators. Key responsibilities include analyzing referral patterns to create tailored account plans, identifying opportunities to enhance volume with existing referrers, and developing new referral channels using approved corporate resources to maximize growth and revenue.
Key Performance Outcomes:
- Conduct face-to-face sales engagements with physicians, respiratory therapists, medical assistants, patients, caregivers, and administrators within the assigned territory, ensuring effective and efficient territory management.
- Analyze referral patterns and prioritize opportunities; develop efficient zones within the territory through effective time management and planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources to increase volume; identify customer drivers such as treatment timelines, quality of care, and technology needs.
- Utilize consultative selling techniques to engage new referral sources and uncover competitive insights based on unmet needs.
- Complete all necessary documentation, including expense reports, sales pipelines, scorecards, and related materials promptly. Collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- 2-4 years of experience in medical sales with a solid understanding of healthcare dynamics.
- Prior experience in airway clearance therapy is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Demonstrated commitment to the Company Sales Process.
- Proven success in consultative selling techniques.
- Exemplary account planning practices.
- Consistent track record of meeting referral targets.
- Minimal travel required after initial training.
- This role is remote and field-based.
Compensation includes a base salary along with uncapped sales incentives, with total earnings potential ranging from $75,000 to $180,000+, depending on individual performance.
