We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Peer Support and Community Outreach Specialist to join our team at Pathways Vermont. In this role, you will provide mental health support and homelessness services to community members. You will work closely with individuals from different backgrounds and life experiences, using your excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) to build trust and rapport. You will be trained in and committed to the values of Intentional Peer Support (or commitment to be trained within 6 months of hiring).

The Job Requirements for this position include personal experience with mental health challenges and/or homelessness, and a willingness and ability to connect with others from a peer perspective. You must have a strong understanding of the local resources for mental health and/or homelessness, and be able to navigate these resources effectively. You will also be required to participate in staff meetings, co-reflection, individual supervision and trainings.

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours weekly. The schedule is from 9:30am-1:30pm Mon-Fri (with some flexibility as needed by program). You will be paid $20/Hour, plus a $1500 Hiring Bonus* after the successful completion of 60 day introductory review with supervisor.
