We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Medical Triage Specialist at Weill Cornell Medical College. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality telephonic triage services to patients, navigating them to the right level of care, and ensuring seamless coordination with healthcare providers.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in clinical practice, preferably in acute care, critical care, or emergency department work. They should also have experience in telephone triage, Epic, and electronic triage software. A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing is required, and current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide telephonic triage services for patients contacting the Contact Center.
  • Utilize clinical triage processes, protocols, and procedures to navigate patients to the right site and time of care based on clinical needs.
  • Participate in care coordination for patients by working collaboratively to understand their needs and reduce readmissions, enhance chronic disease management, and manage health risks.

Salary: $83,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
