Inventory Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory Manager to join our team at Pinnacle Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of inventory levels, and implementing efficient inventory control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Examine supply levels and raw materials to determine shortages and implement corrective actions.
  • Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory levels.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems and implement solutions.
  • Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
  • Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in steel company or other similar manufacturing will be an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage difficult vendor situations.
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
Computer Skills:
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Compensation:

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
