Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement inventory tracking systems to optimize inventory control procedures
  • Examine inventory levels and raw materials to determine shortages and opportunities for improvement
  • Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory levels
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems and develop strategies for mitigation
  • Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus
  • Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in a steel company or other similar manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Analytical mind with strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and manage difficult vendor situations
  • Able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $55,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Pinnacle Group offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and 401K contributions.
