Marketing Events Coordinator NY

At GoNetspeed, we're committed to connecting communities through innovative Internet solutions. As a Marketing Events Coordinator, you'll play a vital role in presenting our brand to the communities we serve through events, sponsorships, and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement marketing initiatives, including internal and external campaigns of varying complexity.
  • Coordinate logistics, scheduling, and event management, including representing the company at events.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of events, from research and negotiation to on-site management and post-event follow-up.
  • Collaborate with sales and field teams on event training and support.
  • Organize post-event reporting and data analysis, sharing summaries with relevant internal teams.
  • Travel to corporate locations and promotional events as needed.
  • Design and distribute customer-facing and internal marketing collateral, support documents, and displays.
  • Manage inventory of promotional items, giveaways, and apparel.
  • Support brand management and message development, reviewing and editing marketing materials for copy content, layout, and branding consistency.
  • Assist with marketing calendar and dashboard management, and document updates and tracking.
  • Support direct mail development and execution, including database queries and data segmentation.
  • Provide onsite execution support for marketing programs.
Requirements:
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Energetic and people-oriented, with an outgoing personality and ability to work in large group and public settings.
  • Detail-oriented, able to work independently, make sound decisions, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Relevant experience determining target audiences and creating unique marketing campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and its application in various forms of outreach.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
  • Ability to work unpredictable hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel in-state and out-of-state as needed.
  • Familiarity with online content marketing and social media strategies.
Education and Experience:
  • Preference given to candidates with a bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, digital media, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, communication, and/or digital media.
