Job Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join our team at Texas Oncology in San Antonio. As an APP, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct diagnostic and therapeutic patient care in collaboration with practice physicians
  • Manage patient care in the outpatient/inpatient/surgical setting, including documentation of visits and patient education
  • Prescribe medications and manage symptoms, counseling and support patients and their families
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers and participate in tumor board and institutional trainings
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist degree from an accredited program
  • Current licensure and registration as a Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Clinical Nurse Specialist in the state of Texas
  • Basic life support (BLS)/CPR certification
  • Minimum 0-6 years of experience, depending on level
