Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to individuals with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and provide psychiatric patient care independently or in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Conduct initial and ongoing assessments for individuals with identified acute and long-term psychiatric diagnoses.
Develop and implement individualized care and recovery plans, including medication management and treatment planning.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support.
Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
Serve as a leader and mentor to other APRNs and healthcare professionals.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Medical Director.

Requirements:
Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
Current APRN licensure in the state of Texas.
Experience in psychiatric nursing and leadership roles.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
