Career Track Engagement Specialist

The Career Track Engagement Specialist plays a pivotal role in the workforce development efforts of True Homes, driving the successful completion of participants in the Career Track. This role requires effective communication skills, organization, and the ability to support both participants and employers throughout the program.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee all cohorts launched within the Career Track program.
- Monitor participant progress and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the program.
- Establish and maintain regular communication channels with both participants and employers involved in the program.
- Provide weekly updates and reminders to participants regarding program requirements, deadlines, and upcoming events.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries and support for participants and employers.
- Facilitate the transition of program participants into the alumni program upon completion of the Career Track program.
- Organize recruitment efforts with schools, community partners, and churches to create a pipeline of potential candidates for the Career Track program.
- Work with the Builders Bridge Director and Trade Council Partners to determine the number of jobs needed for each cohort launched into the industry.
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress, feedback, and program evaluations.
- Assist in the development and distribution of program materials, including handbooks, guides, and resources.
- Coordinate logistical aspects of program activities, such as scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging guest speakers.
- Oversee the social media presence to aid in recruitment efforts and enhance organizational visibility.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of 5-7 Builders Bridge-sponsored events annually.
- Participate in networking and community partner events to identify potential industry allies.
- Oversee administrative tasks and scheduling for upcoming programs.
The Career Track Engagement Specialist is responsible for achieving the following results:
- 75% retention rate of participants after 6 months in the Career Track.
- Responsible for recruitment efforts until there are 3 cohorts each year with at least 15 participants in one cohort.
- Maintain a positive reputation with schools, community partners, and Trade Partners.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three or more years of leadership experience.
- Experience working with young adults, relationship building, networking, and non-profit experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable personal transportation required for daily travel in NC and SC.
The Career Track Engagement Specialist must possess the following skills and qualities:

The Career Track Engagement Specialist must be able to:
- Remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
- Ability to travel and visit job sites.
- Constantly operate a computer and other office equipment.
