About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Oncology team at VHC Health. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect total nursing care to assigned patients
  • Supervise assigned personnel and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
  • Interpret and communicate information to patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • One year of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse by the Virginia Department of Health Professions or Compact State Licensure in Nursing required
  • BLS certification required
