As a Senior Systems Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the accuracy of system databases and programming, aligning with the project scope and operational sequences.
  • Assisting in data backup from servers, establishing automated backup protocols, and resolving any functional discrepancies.
  • Supporting the configuration, setup, and upkeep of PC workstations and user interfaces.
  • Verifying network performance and addressing any emerging issues.
  • Generating routine reports to assess system functionality, participating in final inspections and testing, aiding in customer training, and completing documentation.
  • Collaborating with team members to schedule contractors for startup services and providing necessary plans and control system documents for as-built drawings.
  • Diagnosing and rectifying complex control system issues while serving as a subject matter expert for colleagues.

Your qualifications will make a significant impact:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in the installation and maintenance of building automation and HVAC control systems.
  • Proficiency in developing software applications related to the HVAC sector.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various electronic or digital control systems, with the ability to test and modify system software in multiple programming languages.
  • Expertise in programming, project initiation, verification, and troubleshooting complex systems.
  • Proven experience in integrating low-voltage building subsystems using industry-standard protocols such as BACNet, N2, Modbus, etc.
  • Ability to work in diverse environments around mechanical equipment, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, and working in various temperature conditions; proficient in using hand tools, laptops, smartphones, and tablets; capable of lifting and moving equipment weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continuous and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in the installation and servicing of building automation and HVAC control systems.
  • High school diploma or Associate degree in electronics or a related field.
  • Ability to read and comprehend design and construction documents.

  • The compensation range for this position is $70,280 - $120,480. The actual salary offered may vary based on budgetary considerations and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
