Key Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize yourself with Engineering Submittals and Control Drawings.
  • Source components necessary for project execution.
  • Develop programming sequences of operation in accordance with project specifications.
  • Create visual representations of client systems.
  • Integrate various systems and equipment into the Building Management System (BMS).
  • Troubleshoot, test, and commission BMS systems and electronic components.
  • Apply engineering principles effectively.
  • Assist in technical sales inquiries.
  • Conduct training sessions for owners.
  • Develop the DDC Control database, user interface, third-party integration, and points mapping.
  • Review equipment submittals to ensure design compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline is preferred; or
  • An Associate's degree with relevant certifications; or
  • Equivalent education and experience, with a high school diploma or GED required.
  • Preferred two years of experience in HVAC controls.
  • Experience in logic programming, Data Networking, and Cybersecurity is advantageous.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard hours as needed.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, technical specifications, and construction documents.
  • Intermediate understanding of IP-based networking.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems in relation to Mechanical Systems.
  • Proficiency in Visual Basic Programming is a plus.
