Job Summary:

UF Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
  • Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advances in radiologic technology and imaging modalities.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by an agency accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Registration by the ARRT or registry eligibility and obtain registry within six months of employment.
  • Current licensure from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.

Work Schedule:

Wednesday/Thursday, Friday/Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:

Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Must be registered by the ARRT or registry eligible and obtain registry within six months of employment. Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
