UF Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of radiographic procedures for diagnosis and treatment, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
- Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of radiographic procedures, protocols, and safety guidelines.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
Requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of a Radiologic Technology program accredited by an agency accepted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Registration by the ARRT or registry eligibility and obtain registry within six months of employment.
- Current licensure from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
Work Schedule:
Wednesday and Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 10:00 PM.
Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:
Employees in this position will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Must be registered by the ARRT or registry eligible and obtain registry within six months of employment. Must hold a current license from the State of Florida as a Certified Radiologic Technologist.
