About the Role:

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Student Technologist PRN to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As a Radiologic Student Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Diagnostic Imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of patient examination rooms, equipment, and supplies.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results and ensure patient comfort and safety.
  • Develop and process radiographic images, including X-rays and fluoroscopy.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure or certification as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a Diagnostic Imaging department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Advanced certification in a specialty area, such as mammography or computed tomography.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and imaging software.
